What a strange division. All teams have a tough schedule and all teams sort of have a wild card contention for second place in the East. Well, all except for one.

Dallas A team that stays and plays together, wins together. Jones seems to understand this. He is a true football fanatic and understands the game. He has hired a great coaching team time and time again and has a certain element of honor when it comes to those that do well for his team on and off the field. With Dallas returning this year comes most of its veteran players. Romo isn't dating a leech to distract him during a bye week this year and now has another receiver, Bryant, to throw too. The Dallas big D will once again stop anything thrown at them. The Cowboys are seriously packing heat on both sides of the ball this year. Jones could see his team Go. All. The. Way. This of course would be right in his own back yard. We wouldn't be surprised if Jones offered up some huge bonuses this year to make that happen.

Now to the muddled waters of the remaining NFC East. What a complete mind-job. We will freely admit right now that there are some huge unknowns here and really, anything could hapen. So here goes...

NY Giants... What happend last year? No one really seems to know. The Giants were supposed to be great. They were running on greatness then... someone spike their kool-aid with muscle fatigue powder? We had to take a hard look at the stats to find out what happened. What we found was some huge inconsistancies. You can't win a game if you think you're so great that people will get out of your way. We're not talking about Eli here. Jacobs and Bradshaw must have forgot to cycle back ON the juice last season (we know, joking about juice heads in the NFL is like watching an unexpected nude scene on HBO with grandma sitting right next to you). Even more upsetting was watching the D go from great to flat out terrible. Upper management must have noticed that one too because they did some major overhauling. They grabbed Vets to replace the aging D in a massive effort to gain back their edge to hit the playoffs in stride. The largest problem is when you overhaul a team like that, even with vets, no one really knows how they will play together. We expect a good team but they have to gel as a unit.

Eagles, Redskins, Eagles, Redskins... ahhh We think McNabb finally finished his thesis on astrology while laying on his back last year. It's no secret we dislike McNabb - we named him the most overrated QB last year. Yes, he's good. Listen, when a QB has to run around and tell everyone how great he is, we start to dig into his background and find out why. Well, he is good, not great. He picks up stats in the 4th quarter off of short passes because the opposing D is winning and is protecting the long ball. Picking up 100yds in passing in 6 minutes will help anyones record. So it comes to no surprise that McNabb was getting pounded. I'm sure his O line was sick of his mouth. McNabb left with, we're sure, some sort of vision of headlines and constant coverage much like Favre and his inter-divisional move. So far it seems no one cares, except for those 6 guys running around with McNabb jerseys (they wept). However, as mentioned, McNabb is good and will help the Redskins win a game or two. The Eagles lost quite a few players this year and it seems they want to win. We expect the Eagles D to slam as hard as they can to take down McNabb. The games between the two should be epic. With the Redskins now able to throw and combined with their rushing, we put them slightly on top of the Eagles. The Eagles back peddled and are trying something a bit different. The same old O line is still in place but so are the receivers. Will the line hold? Despite a 4 game win last season, the Redskins did make positive changes that will support their direction to increase game wins. The only question mark is, how old are the Redskins now?
